First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist (FCP) Clinics
If you're experiencing back, neck, or joint pain — including conditions like arthritis — you can now book directly with a First Contact Practitioner Physiotherapist (FCP) through your GP Reception Team.
What FCP Physiotherapists do:
-
Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal issues
-
Offer expert advice and self-management strategies
-
Refer to specialist services if needed
When and where:
FCP clinics are held one day a week at each practice across the Primary Care Network (PCN), with additional rotating clinics on Fridays and Saturday mornings for greater flexibility.
You can now request an appointment directly with a FCP physiotherapist (where appropriate) by speaking to the GP Reception Team — without needing to see a GP first or wait for a hospital referral.
